HYPERION SERIES

Fresnel

100W - 200W - 300W - 700W

Fresnel spotlights are equipped with a Fresnel lens, recognizable by its distinctive surface of concentric “steps” that allows for a wide and even diffusion of the light beam, creating a very soft transition between the lit area and the shadow. This type of spotlight is used to achieve directional, diffused, and uniform lighting with particularly soft, “blurred” edges.

PC

100W - 200W - 300W - 700W

PC spotlights are equipped with a Plano-Convex lens, recognizable by a flat surface on one side and a smooth convex surface on the other. This type of spotlight is used to achieve a focused, accentuated, and uniform lighting with edges that are always “soft” but more defined compared to the Fresnel version.

The housing is IP20 rating, made by rugged, highly resistant extruded aluminum, free of defects such as burrs, pits and malformations, in combination with lightweight fiber glass enforced hammer proof techno-polymer parts.

The housing doesn’t present any sharp edge and be made with a durable yet lightweight and rustproof construction with excellent mechanical strength for longer life also in presence of high humidity.

Finish is shockproof with anti-scratch epoxy raisin powder coating non-reflective black finish with electrostatic application.

The fixture has a rugged rustproof aluminum yoke, reversible and adjustable in height, with fast balancing technology, mounted into extruded aluminum sliding rail for any positioning of the yoke.

The fixture has a display equipped with a 4 buttons for local control.

The fixture utilizes an advanced thermal management system to maintain LED life to an average of 70% intensity after 54,000 hours of use.

The thermal management system is based on the combination of two cooling systems:

– a passive natural heat convection and

– a super silent active cooling system, also controllable via lighting desk

The passive natural heat convection is guaranteed by excellent LED cooling due to very large and effective double labyrinth dissipation, which at the same time avoid any light spillage over the entire top and the back part of the fixture.

The active cooling system is guaranteed by a forced dissipation of heat using a fan, allowing to intervene on the speed and therefore on the noise of the fans.

The thermal management system includes multiple temperature sensors to avoid an early LED deterioration. In addition a fan speed software allows to override DMX fan speed setting or the current to the LED array in order to prevent heat damages of the fixture that brings lifespan at risk.

The focusing is made by very accurate soft fine-tuning endless screw zoom mechanism placed inside the housing in order to guarantee that the size and balance of the fixture remain stable in any position, even with barndoors and filter frames in front.

The projection has a very precise variable beam angle fine adjustment without jerkins.

The optical system guarantees a powerful uniform light output without pixilation thanks to a high-quality borosilicate glass lense.

The lense is mounted onto extended holders to allow the best ventilation.

Power supply:

The fixture has the PSU driver and dimmer electronic integrated on board.

The fixture is equipped with an internal auto sensing power supply with an input range from 100V to 240V – 50/60 Hz protect by on board fuse

The efficiency should be PF>0.94/230VAC PF>0.98/115VAC at full load

Power connector:

– lockable Neutrik® PowerCON True1 TOP main input connector

– lockable Neutrik® PowerCON True1 TOP main through connector

The fixture supports power in and thru operation up to 16A

Control (DMX signal):

– international standard with XLR 5-pole in/out connectors

The fixtures can be linked together with standard DMX cable

Booster – this is a function that allows increasing the light output of individual channels by up to +20% when a color or CCT value is selected in which not all channels are at full. A microprocessor monitors the LED operating temperature and updates the source control parameters in real time.
Stand alone – this function allows controlling one or more fixtures without using a console. The software enables the creation of one or more static colors and the definition of the duration and sequence of each. The function can be set for a single fixture or a group of fixtures. In the latter case, it is necessary to designate a “master” fixture and the “slave” fixtures.
In the tunable white and color versions, it is possible to set the white color temperature from the fixture menu. The range varies depending on the source:
  • TW version: from 2,700K to 6,500K
  • RGBW version: from 2,700K to 8,000K
6/8-color version: from 1,500K to 20,000K In the fixed white versions, the following color temperatures are available:
  • WW version: 3,000K
  • CW version: 5,600K
Other selectable color temperatures range from 2,700K to 6,500K
In every fixture of the Hyperion color series (RGBW – 6C – 8C), the following advanced functions are also available: Plus/Minus Green – this function allows fine adjustment of the green component of the selected CCT to match the specific requirements of the application. Calibration – when using a group of fixtures, it may happen that one or more of them, at the same DMX values, have a color component (e.g., red) that needs “correction” to match the color of the other fixtures. This function allows modifying the spectral curve of a fixture by adjusting the contribution of a single color in the array. Custom Presets – in addition to a rich library of “factory” colors (standard presets), it is possible to create and save up to 10 colors in a secondary library (custom presets).
Selectable between 8 and 16 bits, dimming occurs without stepping, flashing, or visible flicker. Within the intuitive menu, it is possible to choose between different dimming curves. A special algorithm also ensures that the color temperature remains constant during dimming.
AVAILABLE IN WIRELESS DMX VERSION (ON REQUEST) In the wireless version, the DMX signal is transmitted via cable from the console (or splitter) to a transmitter, which converts it into a radio signal that is then sent to a receiver installed in the fixture. This solution is useful in situations where using a cable is not possible or is impractical due to excessive distances. System compatible with Multiverse® technology by City Theatrical.

Movements

Light is also movement. For this reason, we offer a wide range of custom solutions for DMX motorization and pole-controlled movements.

Our movement systems are capable of handling any theatrical and television lighting fixture from our production as well as from other major brands, including fog machines and video projectors.

The yokes are designed for those who want to maintain the photometric performance of classic products while increasing their flexibility of use, greatly saving time in aiming and repositioning.
